Jesus Delivers the Goods

The Last Supper

This was the final meal Jesus shared with His disciples before His arrest and crucifixion. It took place during the Passover and served as a moment where Jesus prepared His followers for what was about to happen, teaching them about humility, love, sacrifice, and the new covenant.

Jesus Unpacked...

Jesus tells the disciples that His suffering and death are near, preparing them for the events ahead.
Jesus reveals that His death is part of God's redemptive plan foretold in Scripture.

"Matthew 26:24

“The Son of man goeth as it is written of him.”

"the grass withers, the flower fades,
but the word of our God stands forever"

Jesus performs the humble act of washing His disciples’ feet, demonstrating servant leadership.
Greatness in the kingdom of God is shown through humility and service to others.

"John 13:14

“If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet.”

"the grass withers, the flower fades,
but the word of our God stands forever"

In Words - Images with a Voice

Under Contruction, construction.

Using language to assemble vivid mental pictures that carry meaning, emotion, and understanding beyond literal description.

Proverbs 25:11 -“A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in a setting of silver.”
Why this fits perfectly: This verse doesn’t explain good speech—it shows it. The wisdom of words is conveyed through a visual image, proving the idea in action: words construct images to convey meaning and beauty.
